The PDMS2PIPENET application interface allows the user to extract a network from a PDMS 3D Design model and prepare an output file suitable for input to the PIPENET Standard, Spray and Transient modules. The network may be either pipework or HVAC ductwork.
PDMS2 PIPENET allows the user to map PDMS catalogue information and individual working design practices into PIPENET components and fittings. In addition, it overcomes the problem of different naming conventions in PDMS and PIPENET systems by using a conversion facility that produces the PIPENET results with the PDMS names.

The PDMS2PIPENET interface runs
under a UNIX operating system on
a PDMS supported workstation.
The PDMS2PIPENET uses PDMS 10.5
or compatible version. It is
compatible with PIPENET version
1.30.
The conversion facility to map
PIPENET names to PDMS names is a
stand-alone PC program.

A limited warranty applies.
Updated versions released by
CADCENTRE will be made available
from time to time.
Product licensing
The PDMS2PIPENET interface can
be licensed to existing and new
PDMS users. A standard
no-warranty licence will be
required for this interface.
Integration Services
The PDMS2PIPENET interface is
supported and serviced by
Cadcentre's Integration Services
group. The Integration Services
group uses Cadcentre software
tools and products to provide
specific solutions to customer
needs. It does this by providing
assistance and advice in
integrating and interfacing
Cadcentre software with
customers' other CAD/CAE
engineering systems.
